Thanks for stopping by to check out the progress on my book!

I have had numerous inquiries regarding the publishing date of my book on Don and the Stinger. This page will keep you informed as to it's progress. I know it's been a long time, but I want to get it RIGHT. This means tracking down some people from 40 years ago, talking to them, getting their side of the story, checking their story against known facts, and putting the information down in a form that would be interesting to a reader. As I have said earlier, I have been doing this for 20 years...

I've got 6 file cabinet drawers filled with information, data sheets (with at least SOME information) for about 135 of the 185 cars built, have traveled to Canonsburg, PA twice, talked to Donna Mae Mims, Jerry Thompson, Warren Dernoshek, Paul Van Valkenburgh, and literally hundreds of others. I probably have more money than I like to think of involved in my search, and it's too late to stop now. Any help any of you can give would be appreciated (names, addresses, phones numbers, email addresses- SEE THE MIA's PAGE), copies of any Yenko documents, photos, or ANY info that you think can help. As time permits, I'll also occasionally throw in an exerpt from the book on these pages, to whet your appetite...

Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far, it means a lot to me.

As of this date (5/7/2007) Chapters 1 through 3 have been edited by James Rice (probably the foremost authority regarding Yenko Stingers). James has been the Competition Chairman for CORSA for many years as well as attended many Stinger races. He’s supplied me with literally dozens of vintage photos of Stingers in action. Chapter 4 is well on the way and should be sent to James soon. Bob Helt has just made a suggestion that may help. The following is a listing of the chapters as they will appear in the book and will give you an idea as to the scope of what I’m trying to do.
