Register Your Yenko Stinger

If you would like to add your Yenko Stinger to the Registry,

After your form is received, a study will be made to verify all information from known records that I have. Submission of the form will not automatically mean your Stinger is noted in the registry. Any and all supporting information in your possession should be submitted at the same time as the form. This will guarantee swift and accurate acceptance.

Should you like your Stinger “verified”, I would require pencil tracings of all three tags.

1. - YS # (mounted on the inner driver front door pillar)
2. - VIN # (mounted in the engine compartment left side frame rail for 1965-1967 or drivers side dashboard near the windshield for 1968-1969)
3. - Fisher Body tag (engine compartment right side of rear frame rail)

If I can possibly verify these three sets of numbers from known existing records that I have, your car will show on the list as “verified”.

As stated earlier any supporting documentation (titles, registrations, Chevrolet build sheets, window stickers or factory invoices, Yenko window stickers, dealer invoices, work, shop or parts orders, SCCA logbooks, grid sheets or any other supporting documentation) will weigh heavily towards the acceptance of your car. You will also be added to my “Stinger Email List” to keep you abreast of any Stinger “happenings”.

I will not be legally responsible to any legal proceedings as far as your acceptance to the registry. This is a volunteer position I have undertaken and have spent many hours/days/weeks/months/years to accumulate the information and present it in an accurate and cohesive fashion. I am always ready to add/change/delete any erroneous information. You are urged to do so at any time by using the above contact information. Thanks go to all of the hundreds of people who contributed information to make my effort possible.....Results of my findings may be viewed on the "Stinger Registry" page of this website. This is known as the "short" Yenko Stinger Registry, and is for anyone interested. An expansion of this list (with VIN#, body # and notes) is also available for owners only of a Stinger. This is known as the "long" Yenko Stinger Registry. Any owner may avail themselves of this list, but I must request that it be kept private and not publicly released until the release of my book. Owners may also request the "data sheet" for their car that contains all information that I have collected regarding their car. At the present time, data sheets and the long registry are not totally complete in a printable form, so I ask that you wait until the short registry is complete before asking for this data.
